Posting about an article that profiles Rima Faber, I remembered that I’d been interviewed for an article in Dance Studio Life magazine. Apparently the article was published last April! Oops.

I’m so glad to see music addressed in articles and journals like this, and I’m honored to be interviewed.

However…  I am sure I was misquoted in several ways. The one that jumped out at me most: I would never say “put that rhythm pattern somewhere else” and especially not “nodding your head.” (I think there are some videos on YouTube that have given this impression of Eurhythmics, unfortunately.)

It could be worse. A newspaper once printed an article about my parents saying that my Dad performed the “Greek Concerto” with the Boston Pops, and his daughter Monica toured with The Eurythmics!
